Caritas Ambassadors

The Aim of our Caritas Ambassadors

Our wonderful Caritas Ambassadors are pupils who are committed to putting love into action. They help our school community to live out our faith through acts of service, compassion and justice. They lead by example, showing kindness, respect and care for others. They help us to follow Jesus’ teachings by noticing when others need support and taking action to help.

Our Caritas Ambassadors support our school in living out the key principles of Catholic Social Teaching by:

  • Promoting the dignity of every person and treating everyone with respect
  • Supporting those who are poor or vulnerable through charity work and fundraising
  • Encouraging our school community to work for the common good
  • Helping others understand that we are part of one global family
  • Caring for God’s creation through environmental action
  • Inspiring others to take part and make a difference

Care for God’s Creation - April 2026

In April, our Caritas Ambassadors met to reflect on the importance of caring for our world, recognising that the Earth is a precious gift from God.

They discussed ways we can look after our environment and keep it safe for everyone. The children wrote thoughtful and beautiful prayers to express their reflections and commitment to caring for creation.

They also enjoyed worked alongside the Laudato Si’ Committee, taking part in a litter pick around the school grounds and within the local community.

Through their actions, they demonstrated how we can all play a part in protecting God’s world.

Advent in Action - December 2025

During Advent, our Caritas Ambassadors delivered a whole-school assembly, sharing an important message about how we can show love and care for others, especially at this special time of year.

They also organised the sale of friendship bracelets to raise money for the Caritas Advent Appeal.

Thank you to everyone for your generosity - together, we raised £85, helping to support those in need and truly put love into action.

Acts of Kindness - November 2025

In November, our Caritas Ambassadors encouraged pupils to reflect on how they could show kindness to others. Every ambassador made a pledge, choosing a way to support and care for others within our school community.

Pupils were also invited to nominate friends who had shown acts of kindness and friendship.

Well done to Samuel, Georgie, Oliver and Lorenzo, who were recognised for their Caritas acts of kindness and awarded a special prize.

Harvest Appeal - October 2025

Our Caritas Ambassadors helped to organise our Harvest Appeal, collecting pantry items to support local families in our community.

Thank you to everyone for your generous donations. These contributions enabled us to create a school pantry in our foyer, available to anyone who may need it. Please feel free to help yourself - together, we are putting love into action.
